How to use the Word Search Maker

The Word Search Maker asks the AI for topic vocabulary, then builds the puzzle grid right in your browser — so reshuffling the grid is instant and free.

Step by step

1. Enter a topic, e.g. "Ocean animals".
2. Pick word count and grid size (bigger grids fit longer words more easily).
3. Choose options: diagonal words, backwards words (harder), or clue mode — the word list is replaced by clues students must solve first (hardest).
4. Press ✨ Generate.
5. Use 🔀 Reshuffle to rebuild the grid with the same words — it costs nothing.
6. Print: the answer key shows the grid with every word highlighted.

Tips

• 💡 If a word "didn't fit", pick a bigger grid size and press Reshuffle.
