How to use the Cloze / Fill-the-Gap

The Cloze Maker turns a reading passage into a fill-the-gap exercise: key words become numbered blanks, with an optional word bank and an answer key. Use YOUR OWN pasted text or let the AI write a passage.

Step by step

1. Paste your passage into the big box — or leave it empty and type a topic instead (the AI then writes an age-appropriate passage first).
2. Choose how many blanks and whether to include the word bank.
3. Press ✨ Generate.
4. Check which words became blanks — regenerate if you want a different selection.
5. Print: word bank at the top (if on), key on the last page.

Tips

• 💡 Removing the word bank makes it substantially harder — good for revision.
• 💡 Paste the exact paragraph from your textbook to test the actual reading you assigned.
